Orange County’s current sales/use tax will be decreased from 8% to 7.75% effective January 1, 2017 through June, 2022 for equipment purchased for use in Biotechnology, Engineering, Life Sciences and Physical Sciences research. The attached information regarding this reduction is provided you and your researchers for planning purposes.
