Announcing 2019 Awardees of the New “Research Growth Fund”

In June, 2019, the Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor created a funding program called the “Research Growth Fund” and began accepting proposals from the Deans.  The goal of the Fund was to identify specific opportunities for investment in our campus that would lead to growth in research.  The program was administered by the Vice Chancellor for Research.  The Research Growth Fund awards were issued in September, 2019 and totaled $1.759M.  Please see the listing below for a description of the investments made. 

Henry Samueli School of Engineering Multidisciplinary Engineering Research Initative (MERI), a program to provide early-stage funding to groups of faculty who will pursue new multi-investigator opportunities in the key areas of focus in our campus strategic plan.
