An emergency fix to KC will occur during the lunch hour today, 5/18, to resolve a reported issue related to last week’s deployment involving the removal of the first question on the Space and Location questionnaire:

 

A validation error was reported indicating a location on or off UCI/UCIMC space was required – even though a site was entered on the Performance Site panel. This has been fixed.

 

If you experience any issues, please submit a help ticket through the KC Support link.

Dear KC Users,

KC will be unavailable tonight, 05/13, from 8:00PM-8:30PM for routine maintenance and deployment of select customizations and enhancements.

Items of interest in tonight’s deployment include:

·        Removed Institutional Proposal (IP) Lookup in the Kuali Coeus Proposals portlet in ZotPortal. If there is a need to look up a proposal using the former IP number, there is a search field in the Development Proposal Lookup:

·         "Room Number" field is added to Performance Site Location panel. If entering a UCI/UCIMC location, please also enter a room number. If entering a non-UCI location by free text, a room number is not required.

o   Since the room number will now be entered on the Performance Site Location on the Proposal tab (as described above). To remove duplicate data entry for UCI/UCIMC locations, the first question on the Space and Location questionnaire on the Questions tab has been removed. Please remember to update the questionnaire when prompted in order to apply this change to proposals that are in progress.

 

·        Disabled appearance of warning message regarding the system generated default budget periods

 

·        When sending support requests via KC Support Link in Zotportal, or when a document error occurs, the ServiceNow ticket will now include the reporters UCInetID. This enable the KC Support staff to easily identify the reporter and respond quicker to system errors/problems.
