Dear Cayuse 424 Users:

The system will be unavailable Tuesday, June 19th, from 5:30PM-9:30PM for the system upgrade to version 8.3.

Please see the detailed notes below summarizing the enhancements within Cayuse that come with this upgrade.

As the system will be unavailable during this downtime, please be sure to save your work and close out of the program beforehand.

Cayuse is pleased to announce the upcoming release of Cayuse 424 version 8.3 on Tuesday, June 19th. Cayuse 424 v8.3 contains some truly exciting enhancements! Read on for details.

When: Tuesday, June 19, 2018 from 5:30PM to 9:30PM Pacific (8:30PM – 12:30AM ET)

What’s New in Version 8.3:

Several enhancements were made to prompt or require the upload of PDFs vs other file types based on Validation Type (Sponsor), system preferences, and user role.
Senior/Key Person Profile forms now display Role in the collapsed/summary view, sorting can be applied to the budget, and sorting for Subaward Senior/Key Personnel has been refined.
Printing a PHS HSCTI Study Record to PDF within Cayuse now displays carriage returns and tabs as they were entered in the form to match changes that were recently made by NIH.
Validations have been enhanced to suppress errors that don’t impact submission for a subrecipient’s Senior/Key Person Profile and to encourage checking of the “Include in Prime” checkbox when key information is present.

During the maintenance window, Cayuse 424 will be intermittently unavailable, but all existing records will be preserved and no action will be necessary on the part of any end user. Please note, even if your application appears to be working, we strongly advise against attempting to enter data during the maintenance window.
