Representatives from AAALAC International, the outside organization that evaluates and accredits laboratory-animal use programs, will be visiting our campus next week – Tuesday, June 26 through Thursday June 28, 2018 – to perform the triennial site visit required to maintain our accreditation. The AAALAC site visit is very similar to routine semi-annual facility inspections conducted by the IACUC, and the preparation is exactly the same – please refer to the guidelines on the UCI Animal Care website for tips on how to prepare.
