Based on interest from the RSIE & COI Insiders Group and support from Sponsored Projects Administration, the Departmental Research Administrators (DRA) Group listserv (dragroup@uci.edu) is now also a space for DRAs to pose questions to the group and get advice from other DRAs. If you are interested in subscribing to this listserv and joining this discussion group, please email dragroup+subscribe@uci.edu.
Once you join the Google Group, you will receive emails sent to this listserv that you can respond to through the email chain or go directly into the Google Groups page. To initiate a conversation/topic, you can email dragroup@uci.edu or go directly to the Google Groups page and click “New conversation” on the top left corner of the page.
For those participating in the discussion group, please adhere to the following guidance:
- Be professional and courteous, even when disagreeing.
- Please only have one topic per conversation/email chain.
- Use a clear, descriptive subject line that will be helpful for future keyword searches
- Please include “Pre-award” or “Post-award” in the subject heading
- If you are creating a new conversation directly in the Google Groups page, please label the conversation after submitting with keywords that would be helpful for future searches
o Click the label icon on the top right section of the email and select from the available labels or select “Create new label” if not yet created
We hope that this Google Group can be a new resource for departmental research administrators. Please ask questions and share resources and information in this forum.
