9/22 Info Session to Review Changes to ARRA Reporting Methods

Dear Colleagues:

The University of California’s 2010 OMB Circular A-133 audit report
included an audit finding that deemed UCI’s ARRA reporting methodology
non-compliant with federal requirements. As a result, UCI has revised
its reporting methodology and will implement these revisions in time for
the October 1st ARRA reporting period.

On September 22, from 9:30am – 11:30am in Emerald Bay B (UCI Student
Center) Sponsored Projects Administration will hold an information
session to review the changes to the reporting process that will
accompany these changes. The session will cover the following:

1) An overview of the changes to UCI’s ARRA reporting process as a
result of the audit findings.

2) UCI’s new timeline for completing and submitting ARRA reports
and corrections to ARRA reports.

3) A detailed overview of the ARRA reporting data elements (jobs,
vendor, subrecipient data etc).

4) A detailed overview of UCI’s ARRA web reporting tool and
enhancements to its functionality (which will be available for use by
Administrators for the October 1st reporting deadline).

It is highly recommended that research administrators who work with ARRA
awards, attend this session. Please register at the UC Learning Center
by logging in at http://www.uclc.uci.edu/ and searching for “ARRA
reporting”.

We hope to see you there.
