As a reminder, the next eRA Office Hours session is scheduled for Tuesday, December 6th, from 9am-12pm in AIRB 1020.
Feel free to come by any time during this period for one-on-one help involving any eRA system. This is a great opportunity for hands-on training & assistance for anyone that is new in your department or in need of a refresher in using different eRA systems including Cayuse 424, Kuali Coeus, NIH eRA Commons, or NSF Fastlane.

The next session of eRA Office Hours is now available for registration on UCLC. It is scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 6th from 9am-12pm in AIRB 1020. Future sessions through March 2017 are also available. Please search “Office Hours” to find the dates and register.
Whether you are submitting a proposal for the first time, or are a seasoned veteran and just need a refresher, these open computer lab sessions are meant to provide campus users with hands on training in any of the electronic research administration (eRA) systems used for proposal preparation and submission; as well as personalized assistance with any questions or problems they may be experiencing while working in these systems. These systems include, but are not limited to: Kuali Coeus, Cayuse 424, NIH eRA Commons, NSF Fastlane, etc.
Is your department using Cayuse 424 yet?
Cayuse 424 is another UCI eRA system that is available for use to submit Federal grant applications. This is an excellent alternative to using the SF424 PDF application forms. Cayuse 424 provides up to date application forms and real-time error checking to ensure error free submissions. It is highly recommended that departments use Cayuse 424 to submit their Federal grant applications. If your department isn’t using Cayuse 424, or you are not familiar with Cayuse 424, please register for eRA Office Hours to learn more and to get hands on training.
Please note that although the eRA Office Hours is scheduled for three hours, you may choose to attend all or part of it depending on your needs. The open lab environment will provide you with the flexibility and option to come and go as needed. If you are not available to attend any of the scheduled eRA Office Hours, contact ERA@research.uci.edu toschedule something separately.
