Dear Colleagues,
We would like to inform you of an upcoming planned maintenance period affecting Kuali Research (KR) as part of UCI’s ongoing initiative to migrate on-premises environments to Amazon Web Services (AWS) — known as the AWS ACDC Migration project. This migration is being conducted across UCI in waves, and this next wave includes Kuali Research (KR).
KR production servers are scheduled to migrate on Thursday, April 16, 2026. Please take note of the following important details:
– KR will be completely offline from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PMon the day of migration.
– This maintenance will not affect external systems, including Cayuse, NIH eRA Commons, Research.gov, or other external sponsor systems.
– In the case of an emergency deadline that falls during the downtime, please contact your Contract & Grant Officer.
