KC will be unavailable tonight 9/21/2016 from 8:00PM-9:00PM for routine maintenance and deployment of enhancements. Please read below for items of interest.
Proposal Development
·Add validation to restrict invalid / special characters. User will be prevented from saving when special characters are included.
o‘Sponsor Contact Information’ field (Proposal tab, Sponsor & Program Information panel) and limit field to 600 characters
o‘Cost Share explanation’ field for Non UCI Cost Sharing (Budget Versions Tab, Cost Sharing)
·Bug fix related to pairing KC Proposal document to Cayuse proposal.
KC Conflict of Interest
·Remove PHS COI disclosure requirements for SBIR/STTR Phase 1 proposals.
oWhen questions (Questions tab, General Questions panel) are answered ‘Yes’, Annual Disclosures are not required by Investigators and action/reminder emails for Annual Disclosure completion are not sent to them:
§‘Is this proposal in response to a SBIR or STTR solicitation?’
§‘Is this proposal for Phase 1 funding?’
Other
·Convert KSAMS namespace to ‘KC’ (previously ‘KC-PD’)
oWhen utilizing Role Name Lookup to assign roles in KC (Proposal Creator, Administrative Contact, Chair Approval, Dean Approval, etc.) search for ‘KC’ or ‘Kuali Coeus’ instead of ‘KC-PD’
