Dear Colleagues,
I am pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Claire Lindsell as the new Director of University Laboratory Animal Resources (ULAR), effective November 1, 2016. Dr. Lindsell joined UC Irvine nearly 10 years ago in 2007 as the Associate Director, ULAR, and has served as the Interim Director for the past 10 months. Prior to coming to UC Irvine, she served as Senior Clinical Veterinarian at the California Institute of Technology for a period of 6 years.
Dr. Lindsell holds a M.Sc. in Reproductive Physiology and Ph.D. in Molecular Endocrinology from the University of Saskatchewan, Canada, a B.V.Sc. (DVM equivalent) from the University of Sydney, Australia, and performed Postdoctoral Research in Developmental Biology at the University of California, Los Angeles.
