To ensure proper oversight, responsible management of animal use protocols (AUP), and adherence to institutional policies on animal research, the Lead Researcher of an AUP will be required to submit an electronic signature for IACUC protocol submissions, effective immediately.
Submission of the LR’s electronic signature will take place after IACUC review, prior to approval. Instructions for submitting LR signature in RMS are available in the RMS User Guide on the IACUC website and will also be provided in the email notification to the LR.
