AAALAC Full Accreditation

The Office of Research is pleased to announce that AAALAC has continued its accreditation of UCI’s laboratory animal care and use program.  When AAALAC conducted its triennial site visit in July 2021, it noted the exemplary commitment of the UCI research community to the highest standards in animal care and use in our program, which was first accredited 50 years ago in 1971.

This re-accreditation would not be possible without the hard work and commitment to excellence exhibited by every member of the UCI research community.  We greatly appreciate your participation during the site visit, and your continued and valued contributions to the program.
