Training Grant Updates

Hi everyone!

Training Grant Site

This was briefly presented on at the last QRAM, but here is the training grant site to serve as a campus-wide point of reference/guidance during the pre- and post-award processes for NIH T32’s. The goal with this is to get everyone on the same page, regarding best practices and tips/tricks that you may not have been aware of otherwise. Again, this is a work in progress, so please let me know if there are areas you see for improvement, missing topics, etc. Any and all feedback are welcome!

xTRACT Training

We are excited to offer a training session presented by a colleague over at UCSD! xTRACT is a NIH web-based program that creates data tables for T32, TL1, T90/R90 and T15 applications.  It will be mandatory for RPPR’s due on or after October 1, 2019.  See NOT-OD-19-108  for further information.  Though xTRACT is not mandatory in FY2020 for new or renewal applications, it may be required in future years.  NIH encourages grant administrators to gain experience with the system prior to it required use.  She will be going over the inputting of information into the NIH xTRACT system.

It will be held on Wednesday, July 31 from 10 AM-12 PM at Office of Research, Kahuna conference room.Spots are limited (30), so to secure a seat, please sign up here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/xtract-training-registration-65039767696
