REMINDER: OFFICE HOURS TOMORROW 07/13 – New Certification Questions for Senior / Key Personnel on federal proposals

Dear Colleagues:

 

On August 1, 2023, all Senior/Key Personnel on new and in-progress federal and federal flow-through proposals (collectively referred to as “federal proposals”) must complete new certification questions in Kuali Research Proposal Development (KRPD). These questions will help UCI meet the federal government’s expectations that grantee institutions submit complete and accurate federal proposals, including ensuring that all Senior/Key Personnel disclose their international engagements in compliance with federal agency disclosure requirements.

 

Proposal Initiators should initiate proposals early by listing all Senior/Key Personnel in the Personnel tab in KR PD and then clicking the “Notify All” button. This will send each Senior/Key Person an email notification from KR-admin@uci.edu“>KR-admin@uci.edu that contains a personalized link to their certification questions. Each Senior/Key Person must complete the questions – there are no proxies or superuser capabilities.

Research Engagement and Compliance (REC) and Electronic Research Administration will hold office hours from 11 – 12 noon on 7/13/2023, from 10 – 11 am on 7/19/2023 and 7/26/2023 to help answer your questions and to demo how the new process will work in KRPD. Please this zoom link at those times to attend the office hours.
