Subject: [Contract and Grant News] Notice of Data Sharing Policy for National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH)

Dear Colleagues,

NIMH recently issued changes to their data sharing expectations for genomic data and for data related to biosamples and genomic data.  This notice applies to grant applications and awards that involve human subject research submitted after January 1, 2020 and applies to all FOAs that NIMH participates in.  While the notice does not change the NIH Genome Data Sharing Policy, it now mandates that the NIMH Data Archive serve as the repository for genomic data funded by NIMH.

Details are available at the link below.  Please forward this notice to your faculty and researchers as appropriate.  Questions regarding the notice can be directed to your Contract and Grant Officer.
