Dear UCI Research Community:
In advance of the implementation of the revised National Institutes of Health (NIH) public access policy, effective July 1, 2025, an Office of Scholarly Communication/Project Transform joint working group (including UC faculty and representatives from UC libraries and research offices) has developed guidance for the UC OSC site to assist UC authors in understanding and complying with the policy. If you have any questions, you can contact:
• Mitchell Brown, UC Irvine Libraries Scholarly Communications Coordinator, mcbrown@uci.edu.
• Becca Gates, UC Irvine Libraries Research Librarian for Health Sciences, rmgates@uci.edu.
