Subject: Disclosing Resources and Support in Federal Funding Applications
|
Disclosing Resources and Support in Federal Funding ApplicationsDear Colleagues: In light of heightened federal scrutiny and increasing concerns about the failure of some researchers to disclose substantial resource contributions from other organizations, such as foreign governments and foreign institutions of higher education, it is more important than ever that together we ensure UCI’s federal funding applications contain accurate and complete information. To promote and foster compliance with federal funding application rules, it is important to carefully follow the instructions published by federal sponsors. For your convenience, below are the NIH definition of Other Support, and the NSF definition of Current and Pending Support.
If you have questions regarding the disclosure of resources and support in federal funding applications, please contact the Federal Contract and Grant Officer assigned to your unit. Sincerely, Pramod Khargonekar, Ph.D. |
