APLU has launched a new webpage for educational materials regarding Facilities and Administration (F&A) reimbursement costs. These resources are products of collaboration with other higher education associations such as AAU, COGR, AAMC, and AIRI. These resources are intended to help explain F&A to those new to the concept and why these reimbursements are a critical component of the research enterprise.

Materials hosted on the new webpage include:
- An infographic identifying the differences between direct, indirect, and non-reimbursable costs in a laboratory environment.
- A two-pager describing the importance of F&A costs to the conduct of federally supported research at research universities, and how universities have been paying an increasing share.
- A 5-minute video explaining F&A for a general audience.
- A series of FAQs that address the basics of F&A reimbursement and its accountability.
