barbERA’s KR Tip! Importance of “Status” for Attachments

Dear Colleagues,

This is a reminder to all Kuali Research (KR) users to always select a “Status” of ‘Complete’ when attaching documents into KR.

It was recently that if you did not select a ‘Status’ (of either Complete or Incomplete) when adding an Internal Attachment (even though it’s a required field) the user would encounter an ‘incident report’ when attempting to Save:

                                                                              

Therefore, you should always select a “Status” for your attachments. A fix for this issue is in the works and is scheduled to be deployed on October 10^th.
