10/17/25: U. of Virginia and Dartmouth Reject Compact as Trump Invites Some Colleges to Meet (The Chronicle) The University of Virginia on Friday joined the chorus of refusals to endorse Trump’s compact, shortly after faculty and community members rallied on the campus to oppose the deal.
