NSF Broader Impacts

I have heard several people ask me about NSF Broader Impacts criterion as well as broadening participation programs in light of policy and priority changes. I will be happy to answer specific questions on this. But for those interested, I would like to point to the recent FAQ:

Also, please note than Broader Impacts criterion is broader than and allows for many other options beyond broadening participation.
