The Office of Research (OR) will be closed during the UC Irvine Winter Recess (December 24, 2014 through January 1, 2015).
Lead Researchers and administrative contacts should be mindful of this closure when planning proposal submissions and submissions to UCI regulatory committees. Please see the following deadlines for committee meetings scheduled shortly after the break:
- The next IRB submission deadline is December 11 for the January 16, 2015 IRB “C” meeting. The IRB “A” deadline is December 18 for the January 23, 2015 meeting. The IRB “B” deadline is January 15, 2015 for the February 6, 2015 meeting. For urgent issues involving human research protections during the Winter Break please send an e-mail to allen@uci.edu.
- The next IACUC submission deadline is December 15, 2014 for the January 15, 2015 meeting. For urgent issues involving animals during the Winter Break, please call (949) 824-7788 and follow the instructions for reaching on-call ULAR staff
- The next hSCRO submission deadline is December 18, 2014 for the January 8, 2015 meeting.
- The next COIOC submission deadline is February 2, 2015 for the February 19, 2015 meeting.
