Dear Colleagues,
The indirect cost rate for projects funded by State of California agencies at UC campuses will not escalate as previously anticipated on July 1, 2025. The indirect cost rate for on campus projects will remain 35% MTDC and off campus projects will remain 25% MTDC until June 30, 2026. Please note that:
- The above referenced rates do not apply to federally funded projects where UC is a subrecipient of a state pass through entity.
- The above referenced rates do not apply to other (non-California) state sponsors.
