NIH Fellowship Form Correction

Dear Colleagues,

On Friday, the National Institutes of Health released NOT-OD-16-106 to inform the NIH community that a form correction was made to an issue with the application form packages associated with the fellowship funding opportunity announcements listed in the notice. This pertains to all NIH Fellowship Opportunities. The impacted announcements are listed at the bottom of this email.

The application forms packages posted with these opportunities on June 3, 2016 included an incorrect version of the PHS Fellowship Supplemental Form. This posting error was corrected the evening of June 7, 2016. NIH has provided instructions for applicants planning to submit through Grants.gov or ASSIST. Anyone who started a Grants.gov application for any of these opportunities prior to June 8, 2016 must return to the funding opportunity announcement and begin again. ASSIST users were prevented from initiating an application with the incorrect form package, so if you attempted to initiate an application prior to June 8 and received an error, you can now safely initiate your application.

Cayuse 424 users who started a grant application prior to June 8 will see a no symbol () appear to the left of the proposal in their Proposal List. Cayuse automatically downloads new forms into the Opportunities Tab, so users can use the Transform Function to preserve data from the current proposal to the new version of the opportunity. Applicants who have not yet started the proposal process in Grants.gov, ASSIST, or Cayuse should download the most recent application form package accessible from the Funding Opportunity Announcement.
