*Cayuse 424 Notification* “Opportunity Unavailable” messages

Hi Everyone,

Please see yesterday’s email from our Cayuse 424 vendor regarding an issue with accessing opportunity packages. There was a system update from Grants.gov that affected current proposal files in Cayuse. If you are attempting to submit a proposal and you receive an “opportunity unavailable” alert, the proposal initiator will need to *Transform* the proposal to the same opportunity number.

The ERA team has already been notified of several proposals affected. Please let us know if there are any others.

For instructions on how to transform your proposal, please see our online documentation here.

If you have any questions, please contact era@research.uci.edu.

Thanks,
Jonathan

Hello Cayuse 424 Community,

We have completed all necessary changes on our side to allow proposal submission. Important Note: You still MUST transform your proposal to the same opportunity number before attempting to submit. If you still see the “Original Opportunity Unavailable” message, the proposal has not yet been transformed. Instructions for transforming your proposal can be found in our online documentation here.

Evisions is closed today, however, I will be closely monitoring the ticketing system for any issues that may arise today. If you have questions, concerns, or see any issues, please open a ticket here.

Thanks and best of luck with your proposal submissions today.

Hello Cayuse 424 Community,

We have determined the issue with the “Original Opportunity Unavailable” message was a result of changes made by Grants.gov over the weekend updating http to https. You will need to Transform the existing proposal to the same opportunity number, the new proposal will not show the error message. For instructions on how to transform your proposal, please see our online documentation here.

We are in the process of making some updates which will be completed today. These updates will not result in any down time. Until these updates are completed, the Submit button will be disabled on these proposals. We will update you once these changes are complete.

Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.
